Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Cannock is seeking Trainee Mechanical Engineers to join a specialist engineering business serving the UK and beyond. This role offers full training and mentoring, with a starting pay of £12.71 per hour and a Monday–Friday pattern from 07:30 to 16:30.

You will work with experienced engineers on manufacture, refurbishment, installation, maintenance and repair of specialist equipment, with occasional travel to customer sites as needed, and opportunities for a long-term

Qualifications

• Strong interest in mechanical engineering.
• Experience repairing cars, motorcycles, machinery or similar equipment advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and take things apart to understand how they work.
• Driving licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with manufacture and refurbishment of specialist mechanical equipment.
• Support installation, maintenance and repair projects.
• Use hand and power tools.
• Fault finding and problem solving.
• Work with experienced engineers to develop technical skills.
• Occasional travel to customer locations for site work.

Are you mechanically minded? Do you enjoy repairing cars, taking machinery apart, fixing equipment, or understanding how things work?

We are recruiting for Trainee Mechanical Engineers to join a specialist engineering business based in Cannock. The company operates within a niche industrial technology sector, manufacturing, repairing, maintaining and installing highly specialised equipment for customers across the UK and beyond. The business is well established and provides installation, maintenance, repair and upgrade services within the induction heating and furnace industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop a long-term engineering career. Full training will be provided, but applicants should have a genuine interest in mechanics and engineering.

What We're Looking For

• A strong interest in mechanical engineering
• Experience repairing cars, motorcycles, machinery, bicycles or similar equipment would be advantageous
• Someone who enjoys taking things apart and understanding how they work
• Practical hands-on skills and a willingness to learn
• Good problem-solving ability
• Reliable and committed attitude
• Driving licence desirable but not essential, as occasional work may be carried out at customer sites
