Job summary

Lift Schools in the West Midlands invites aspiring Maths teachers to join a salaried teacher-training year in partnership with Ark Teacher Training. Trainees will earn a salary while gaining practical classroom experience and working toward their PGCE and QTS.

Qualifications

• Degree: An undergraduate degree with a 2:2 classification or above (or equivalent) by the start of the programme.
• GCSEs: Grade 4 (C) or above in English & Mathematics (or equivalent).
• Status: Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the training year.
• Teaching status: Must not currently hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience as you train to teach Maths.
• Receive 1-on-1 mentoring and weekly feedback from experienced teachers.
• Complete the PGCE and obtain QTS through the salaried ITT programme.
