Job summary

Lift Schools is offering a school-based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) programme to train to teach Maths through an Apprenticeship route. You will earn while you learn, working towards a PGCE and QTS, with mentoring from experienced teachers.

You will spend the year gaining practical classroom experience, applying pedagogy in real lessons, and building confidence as you progress through the programme. Summer School dates and nationwide network support are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maths or STEM (2:2 or above) by start of programme.
• GCSE English & Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Right to live and work in the UK for the duration of training year.
• Must not currently hold QTS.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience throughout the school year.
• Weekly mentorship and feedback from in-school tutor.
• Participate in targeted weekly training modules.
• Graduate with PGCE and QTS upon successful completion.
