Job summary

Lift Schools invites aspiring maths teachers to join its school-based Initial Teacher Training programme. You will learn directly in the classroom, supported by experienced teachers and mentors, and work toward a PGCE and QTS.

The apprenticeship allows you to earn while you learn, with a 1-year full-time programme, including two-week Summer School and ongoing mentoring to build practical teaching skills in a real school setting.

Qualifications

• PGCE & QTS with Level 6 Apprenticeship completed or in progress
• Formal teacher training while earning in the classroom
• Strong maths background preferred (Maths/ STEM degree or strong A-Level)

Responsibilities

• Gain practical classroom experience under supervision
• Receive 1-on-1 mentoring and weekly feedback
• Complete training modules and build teaching confidence throughout the year
