Job summary

Upham Inns in Southern England is recruiting for flexible hours (full and part-time) with rates up to £13.00 per hour plus a share of tips. You will lead shifts, train staff on products, and drive promotional activity while ensuring consistently high levels of customer service.

This is a busy, friendly environment offering development opportunities, good training, and a chance to grow within a growing company.

Qualifications

• Leadership of shifts and motivating team members.
• Briefing staff on product changes and promotions.
• Assist in implementing promotional activities.
• Coaching staff to upsell and deliver great service.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for team work, leading and motivating team members
• Hold pre session briefings as and when appropriate and make sure the team are fully briefed and trained on any new amended food and drink products, and any promotional activity
• Assist in implementing and driving promotional activities
• Support and coach team members to upsell
• Deal with any issues that arise during each shift promptly and professionally, seeking advice from the general manager where necessary
• Lead by example to ensure that the highest possible levels of customerservice are delivered by team members at all times
• Liaise with other departments Including kitchen and door teams in thebusiness to ensure every customer experiences a consistent level of service
• Assist the General and Assistant Managers as and when necessary to make thebusiness run effectively and efficiently.
