You will be trained to service a wide variety of fire and security systems, all located within a compact geographical area. You will be provided with a company van and all the tools needed for your work.
This is an entry-level role in the fire and security industry, with ongoing development opportunities to become a fully qualified fire & security engineer.
Initial training includes a 6-week program covering fundamentals of fire system PPM, followed by 18 months of specialized development in areas such as fault finding, BS5839 standards, H&S, customer service, beam detection, air sampling, radio detection, portable extinguisher training, and manufacturer-specific courses.
Completion of practical and theory exams will lead to an EAL Level 3 qualification.
