Holt Engineering is recruiting a Trainee Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Wareham. The role offers full training on specialist machinery and a clear path to develop machine-operating skills in a modern production setting.

The ideal candidate will bring a practical, hands-on approach, good attention to detail, and reliability. Prior experience in production is advantageous, but training is provided to build competency in operating the machinery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Hands-on and practical approach to work.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Willing to learn and operate machinery with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production machinery to manufacture products to specification.
• Load materials into machinery and ensure smooth production runs.
• Carry out quality checks throughout the process.
• Follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Identify and report faults or issues with machinery or products.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.
• Receive full training to become competent in operating specialist machinery.
