Job summary

Masstemps is recruiting a trainee Wood Machinist to join a busy manufacturing operation on the outskirts of Kidderminster. You’ll load products into machines, operate hand and power tools (including nail gun) and perform wrap/band tasks to keep products moving.

Ideal candidates will be confident in a manufacturing environment, able to lift heavy items, and reliable with good punctuality. The role offers progression after probation and overtime rates.

The Role

As a Wood machinist, you will be responsible for:

• Loading product into machines and machine lines
• Using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively (nail gun)
• Carrying out manual handling duties
• Wrapping and Banding wood products
• Maintaining quality standards while working efficiently to production targets

Hours

Monday to Thursday5:30am-2:30pm

You do not work a friday.

Pay

£12.90ph with progession after successful probation period.
