Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Trainee Lift Engineers for London and the Home Counties. You will begin with around six months of comprehensive training and mentoring to develop the technical knowledge and practical skills required to work safely and effectively in the lift industry.

After training you may specialise as Lift Technician, Repair Engineer, Service Engineer or Installation Engineer, taking ownership of your geographic area and pursuing a long-term engineering career with

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical or engineering background.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
• Attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Undergo six months of structured training and development to gain technical knowledge and hands-on experience.
• After training, specialise in Lift Technician, Repair Engineer, Service Engineer or Installation Engineer.
• Take responsibility for your own geographical area with increasing independence and workload ownership.
• Build a long-term engineering career with clear progression into more senior roles.
