Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd. is seeking mechanically minded individuals to join as Trainee Lift Engineers in London & the Home Counties. Starting salary is £30k–£35k with benefits and potential to rise to around £40k after training.

You will undergo approx. six months of training, then specialise as Repair or Installation engineer with independent area ownership. No previous lift industry experience is required; comprehensive training and mentoring will be provided, with clear progression into

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical or engineering background.
• Electrical knowledge advantageous but not essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good understanding of workplace Health & Safety.
• Ability to work towards targets without compromising standards.
• Good attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach to work.
• Flexible attitude and enthusiasm for developing technical skills.

Responsibilities
