ORONA invites Mechanical or Electrical graduates to join the Glasgow/Edinburgh area as a trainee Lift Engineer. You will be mentored by experienced Lift Engineers and the Technical Department to learn the company and industry requirements.

Depending on progress, you will be enrolled for the NVQ Level 3 course in either Installation or Maintenance of Lifts. This role emphasizes safety, skill development and long-term career growth within a stable, expanding global company offering structured

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical background demonstrated either through Education or through recent work experience.
• Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations
• BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering
• The ability to follow instructions and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all time
• Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills

Responsibilities

The Role

We have an opportunity for candidates with Mechanical/Electrical Engineering backgrounds to join our growing organisation. We are looking for Mechanical or Electrical Engineers for our Glasgow/Edinburgh area who are looking for the first or next step in their career, Orona's Transferable Skills Programme will help you to gain the knowledge and experience to work as an independent Lift Engineer.

You will be trained by our experienced Lift Engineers and Technical Department to learn and understand the company and requirements of our industry. Depending on your learning progress, you will then be enrolled for the NVQ level 3 course within either the Installation or Maintenance of Lifts.

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanical or Electrical background demonstrated either through Education or through recent work experience
• Ideally possess one of the following;
• Level 2 Foundation Course in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering,
• Level 2 Performing Engineering Operations
• BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering

• Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills
