Job summary

Orona is actively seeking a Lift Field Technician to join our Service Team covering London Centre and surrounding areas. You will be an experienced Service Engineer with an NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering and LEIA training.

Join a global leader in lifts, escalators and related equipment. You will test modernisations, support engineers, and manage tasks across a geographical region, with a strong focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 4 in Lift Engineering and LEIA training.
• Proven lift industry experience.
• Full UK clean driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support using problem-solving techniques to provide solutions and recommendations.
• Testing lift modernisations.
• Using your expertise to solve technical problems associated with lift/elevator call outs and repairs.
• Supporting a team of Service Engineers using your experience of working with Orona and other lift products.
• Obtaining and enhancing knowledge on a wide range of lift types and equipment.
• Managing your time covering a geographical region and working on your own initiative.

The Role

We are looking for a Lift Field Technician to join our Service Team covering London Centre and surrounding areas. You will be an experienced Service Engineer with an NVQ Level 4 in Lift Engineering and LEIA training.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing technical support using problem‑solving techniques to provide solutions and recommendations
• Testing lift modernisations
• Using your expertise to solve technical problems associated with lift/elevator call outs and repairs
• Supporting a team of Service Engineers using your experience of working with Orona and other lift products
• Obtaining and enhancing knowledge on a wide range of lift types and equipment
• Managing your time covering a geographical region and working on your own initiative

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience within the lift industry
• NVQ level 4
• Lift Types Knowledge – reasonable understanding of all major competitors’ equipment
• Problem solving – able to identify problems, break them down into smaller elements, pinpoint possible solutions, prioritise these different elements and construct an action plan for tackling the problem
• Full clean UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK (mandatory)
