Job summary

Orona UK in Scotland is seeking Mechanical or Electrical Engineers for the Glasgow/Edinburgh area who are looking to start or advance their career. The Transferable Skills Programme will provide the knowledge to work as an independent Lift Engineer, with training from experienced Lift Engineers and our Technical Department.

Depending on progress, you may enrol in the NVQ level 3 course in Installation or Maintenance of Lifts.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or Electrical background demonstrated either through Education or through recent work experience.
• Must hold an SCQF-recognised qualification at any level.
• The ability to follow instructions and ensuring safety guidelines are followed at all time
• Demonstrate a willingness to develop and learn new skills

The Role

We have an opportunity for candidates with Mechanical/Electrical Engineering backgrounds to join our growing organisation. We are looking for Mechanical or Electrical Engineers for our Glasgow/Edinburgh area who are looking for the first or next step in their career, Orona's Transferable Skills Programme will help you to gain the knowledge and experience to work as an independent Lift Engineer.

You will be trained by our experienced Lift Engineers and Technical Department to learn and understand the company and requirements of our industry. Depending on your learning progress, you will then be enrolled for the NVQ level 3 course within either the Installation or Maintenance of Lifts.

What We’re Looking For
