Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions in electrical installation

  • Create schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum requirements

  • Integrate up-to-date electrical standards, including IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)

  • Assess learner progress through assignments, exams, and hands-on work

  • Provide pastoral and academic support to students through regular progress reviews

  • Keep current with industry standards and contribute to curriculum development

Requirements

  • A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)

  • Current knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) is essential

  • Industry experience and/or teaching/training experience desirable

  • A teaching qualification is not essential support is provided for Trainee Lecturers

  • Strong communication and organisational skills
