Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions in electrical installation
  2. Create schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum requirements
  3. Integrate up-to-date electrical standards, including IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)
  4. Assess learner progress through assignments, exams, and hands-on work
  5. Provide pastoral and academic support to students through regular progress reviews
  6. Keep current with industry standards and contribute to curriculum development
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • Current knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) is essential
  • Industry experience and/or teaching/training experience desirable
  • A teaching qualification is not essential — support is provided for Trainee Lecturers
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
