Job summary

Oakley Hill in Evesham is seeking a Trainee Insurance Broker to join the Personal Lines team. You will receive full training, coaching and support towards professional qualifications while gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

The role is office-based with 1 in 4 Saturdays, a comprehensive in-house training programme, and a clear progression pathway within a growing organisation.

Qualifications

• No professional qualifications required; comprehensive in-house training provided.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for clients across personal insurance products including car, van, and home insurance.
• Provide tailored advice and quotes focused on client needs and risk profiles.
• Support policy renewals, claims and new business processes.
• Ensure accurate policy documentation and full compliance with provider and internal procedures.
• Work with underwriters and internal teams to deliver excellent service and maintain client retention.

Daily tasks will include:

• Acting as the first point of contact for clients across a range of personal insurance products including car, van, and home insurance
• Providing tailored advice and quotes, always focused on client needs and risk profiles
• Supporting with policy renewals, claims, and new business processes
• Ensuring accurate policy documentation and full compliance with provider and internal procedures
• Working closely with underwriters and other internal teams to deliver excellent service and maintain strong client retention

You'll need to be:

• A confident communicator who enjoys speaking with people and building relationships
• A proactive problem-solver with the ability to think on your feet
• Someone currently working in customer services, sales or retail who is ready to step into a long-term professional career
• A self-starter with enthusiasm, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly
• Above all, determined to succeed - our client promotes from within, and every current senior leader in the company started out as a Trainee within the business
