Job summary

Chase Taylor Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Trainee Install Engineers to cover the Southwest. No prior installation experience is required; full training will be provided as you join a hands-on team installing residential roller doors across the UK.

You'll work alongside experienced engineers, developing practical skills through structured on‑the‑job training, with a clear path to become a fully qualified Install Engineer and ongoing mentoring for career progression.

Qualifications

• Attitude over experience; motivation matters more than prior roles.
• Practical, hands-on mindset with a can-do approach.
• Willing to travel across the UK; full UK driving licence desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of residential roller doors and related products.
• Learn installation techniques from experienced engineers.
• Work with Sales and Survey teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain high workmanship.
• Support troubleshooting, remedial work and after-sales visits as needed.
• Complete installation documentation accurately.
• Attend training sessions and develop technical skills.

Are you practical, hands-on, and looking for a career where you can learn valuable skills while earning? We're looking for motivated individuals to join our growing team as Trainee Install Engineers covering the Southwest.

No previous installation experience is required. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy working with your hands, and are eager to learn, we'll provide all the training and support you need to become a fully qualified Install Engineer.

Working alongside experienced engineers, you'll help install high-quality residential roller doors across the UK while developing technical skills through structured, on-the-job training.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assisting with the installation of residential roller doors and associated products.
• Learning installation techniques from experienced engineers.
• Working closely with our Sales and Survey teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Providing excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Supporting with troubleshooting, remedial work, and after-sales visits when required.
• Completing installation documentation accurately.
• Attending training sessions and continually developing your technical skills.
