Job summary

Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is offering a trainee High Intensity CBT role within Blackpool Talking Therapies. The post combines delivering high intensity CBT with a structured training programme leading to a Post Graduate Diploma at the University of Cumbria.

You will undertake CBT with clients with complex needs, attend university modules, engage in regular clinical supervision, and provide appointments face to face, by telephone, or via video link.

Qualifications

• Graduate-level qualification in a related field is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of cognitive-behavioural therapy principles.
• BABCP knowledge/attitude requirements evidenced at interview.

Responsibilities

• Provide high intensity CBT interventions to clients with complex needs.
• Undertake a structured training programme leading to a Post Graduate Diploma at the University of Cumbria.
• Attend university modules, engage in regular clinical supervision and complete academic requirements.
• Offer CBT appointments face to face, by telephone, or via video link, with interpreters as needed.
