Job summary

Turning Point is recruiting for a salaried, one-year training post in High-Intensity CBT therapy, based in the Wakefield IAPT service. The role combines two days a week of university study toward a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT and three days of in-service practice under supervision.

Successful candidates will have a first degree in an applied discipline (usually Psychology); BABCP core profession evidence and KSA requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Must have BABCP recognised core profession OR electronic completed KSA portfolio.
• First degree in an applied discipline (usually Psychology) required.
• PWP background with two years practice at course start is expected.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Step 3 High Intensity CBT therapy under supervision.
• Participate in training and complete postgraduate diploma at University of Hull.
• Provide high-quality therapy to adults within the Wakefield IAPT service.
