Established in June 2018, Counted is a start up recruitment brand, based in Worcester & Halesowen. This role will be based at our Worcester office, on the Tything.

We work with both large household names and smaller local companies across the West Midlands to help them find the best Accounting talent. We place the best Accountants in the best businesses.

Main Duties

This role would suit someone seeking a career that blends customer service, sales, and marketing. The role will progress from early administration and customer service, to equip you with the knowledge you need to move into a long term exciting recruitment role.

Your main focus is the consultants and candidates, you will help generate new candidates, to help our talent partners fill more roles. You help consultants keep processes moving and help consultants fill roles. In addition, you the heartbeat of our candidate liaison. You need to be happy talking to people on the phone!

The role itself is fast paced, very varied and mixes elements of customer service, inbound sales, administration and marketing. You will spend plenty of time talking to people! The role itself is a targeted and KPI driven role, but you will be given all the support you need to succeed and there is no cold calling. You are key to helping us keep our clients happy, managing our talent pipeline.

  • Management of the relations for a range of candidates of all levels
  • Be involved with the front end of the recruitment process from sourcing candidates and process management, screening and selection
  • Reaching out on a regular basis, via phone and email to both current and prospective candidates
  • Drive our customer service, making sure it is always fantastic.
  • Source new candidates through LinkedIn, advertising and a range of professional tools
  • Be a key part of keeping our current relationships strong and clients feeling valued
  • Help our candidates through every step of the recruitment process
  • Set up interviews and help candidates prepare for interviews
  • Contacting and engaging with senior staff from our customers
  • Sending CVs and other documents

Administration

  • Management of job applications through job portals
  • Create and manage job advertisements
  • Format CVs and Word documents
  • Helping create marketing campaigns across social media and traditional platforms
  • Help manage and run networking events
  • Produce and run mailer campaigns

Desired Experience

The candidate will be a down to earth individual with real drive and ambition to succeed. The key and most important skills you will need to succeed is, drive, a strong work ethic and compassion for others.

Experience in a telephone based role previously is advantageous, as is any experience managing relationships of external customers or suppliers. However, any experience in hospitality, retail or office work is also welcomed. Graduates are welcomed, but a degree is not required.

  • Basic salary ranges £23k-£25K in the first year, with a typical consultant earning circa £26k-30k in their first year with commission.
