Job summary

Pertemps Leeds in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time Trainee Chemical Gas Engineer (Gas Measurement) based in Uttoxeter. The role offers £27,000 to £32,000 annually and comes with excellent company benefits.

Qualifications

Solid grounding in maths and science with practical aptitude.
Willingness to learn with full technical training provided.
Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to work with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

Carrying out performance evaluations of gas chromatographs in accordance with ISO 10723:2012.
Undertaking inspections of gas quality measurement systems within ISO 17020-accredited service.
Calibrating and validating gas quality instrumentation at customer sites.
Analysing results and producing technical reports for customers' compliance.
Preparing reference gas mixtures and verifying contents using accredited procedures.
Coordinating with Sales, Logistics and other departments to deliver reliable service.
Maintaining accurate technical records and documentation per quality system.
Supporting audits as required.
