Job Description:

Autumnal Partners are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a high growth Private Equity Fund in the West End.

The role offers an excellent pathway into finance for a recent graduate, with significant track record in staff development and internal promotion. The client will sponsor an ACCA qualification and support your path to full qualification.

The Trainee Accountant will be expected to perform tasks including:

• Processing invoices for payments and entering into the general ledger (accounts payable)
• Issuing invoices, logging them, and entering into the general ledger (accounts receivable)
• Processing expense claims (mainly via credit/debit cards)
• Initiating payments via bank internet access, including for clients
• Performing daily bank reconciliations
• Preparing and posting journal entries for accurate accounts (e.g., prepayments & accruals)
• Updating and maintaining control Excel spreadsheets
• Preparing account reconciliations (balance sheet and P&L)
• Assisting in the preparation of regulatory reports
• Supporting the audit process
• Developing effective relationships with stakeholders

Applicants should be recent graduates from Russell Group universities eager to train as accountants.
