Job Description:

Autumnal Partners are exclusively recruiting on behalf of a high growth Private Equity Fund in the West End.

The role offers an excellent pathway into finance for a recent graduate, with the business having a strong track record in staff development and internal promotions. The client will sponsor an ACCA qualification and support your path to full qualification.

The Trainee Accountant will be expected to perform tasks such as:

  • Processing invoices for payments and entering them into the general ledger (accounts payable)
  • Issuing invoices, logging them, and entering into the general ledger (accounts receivable)
  • Processing expense claims (mainly via credit/debit cards)
  • Initiating payments via bank internet access for all entities, including clients
  • Performing daily bank reconciliations
  • Preparing and posting journal entries to ensure accurate accounts (e.g., prepayments & accruals)
  • Updating and maintaining control spreadsheets
  • Preparing account reconciliations (balance sheet and P&L)
  • Assisting in the preparation of regulatory reports
  • Supporting the audit process
  • Developing effective relationships with stakeholders
