Job summary

Masstemps in Worcester is hiring motivated individuals to join our foundry team as Trainee Foundry Operatives. Full training will be provided, with no previous foundry experience needed.

You will learn day-to-day operations, follow production procedures, operate machinery after training, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe work environment as part of a busy production team. Three shifts available: AM, PM and Nights, Mon–Fri with pay rates of £12.71–£16.56 per hour depending on

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
• Willing to learn new skills and take instruction.
• Able to work well as part of a team.
• Safety-conscious with a good attitude towards following procedures.
• Physically capable of carrying out a manual role.
• Full training provided; previous foundry experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day foundry and manufacturing operations.
• Follow production procedures and instructions safely and accurately.
• Operate machinery and equipment following full training.
• Prepare materials and components for production.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets.
• Develop your skills and knowledge across different areas of the foundry.
