Job summary

Luton Bennett is recruiting a Trainee Forklift Engineer (Vehicle Technician) for the Basingstoke area. Starting salary up to £36,000 with pension contributions, overtime and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.

The role covers PDI, maintenance and breakdown work on forklift trucks within a modern workshop. Ideal candidates have experience with plant or forklift equipment and IT literacy; level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline is preferred.

• Experience on plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, cars or similar equipment.
• IT literate
• Ideally hold a level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline

Trainee Forklift Engineer role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks offering excellent training.
The Trainee Forklift Engineer role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. Automotive technicians/motor trade will also be very suited.
You’ll be responsible for carrying out PDI's, maintenance and breakdown on a range of forklifts. The workshop is very modern, clean and fully stocked.
