Mission 4 Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading life safety and security specialist for a Trainee Compliance Tester based in St Albans. Travelling across London and the Home Counties, you will perform routine checks and compliance testing on client fire safety systems, with full training provided.

No prior experience is required; this entry-level role offers structured training, a 9-day fortnight, and generous holidays plus pension and health benefits.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is necessary; full training will be provided.
• The successful candidate will be travelling across London and the Home Counties.
• A practical, organised and reliable approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out weekly testing on fire alarms and emergency call points.
• Perform monthly checks on emergency lighting systems.
• Provide professional and polite communication to on-site contacts and clients.
• Log job details accurately using a handheld digital device (PDA).
• Maintain equipment, tools, and company stock in an organised manner.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure safe working practices on all sites.
