Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates Limited is recruiting Trainee Field Technicians to cover the local Dartford area. The role involves learning to locate water leaks on underground networks, with training provided over 6–12 months. It operates on nights, 40 hours per week (Mon–Thu) and includes a company van and fuel card.

Temporary to permanent for the right candidate. Applicant must hold a full driving licence and be able to drive regularly.

Qualifications

• Full clean driving licence is required.
• Willingness to undergo training for a new role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in detailed surveys to identify water leakage and locations.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Assist in survey work and project tasks beyond daily leak detection.
• Complete paperwork accurately, including time sheets and leak details.
• Upload data onto a laptop using basic computer skills.
• Must be prepared to drive as part of the role.
