Job summary

Finlay Jude Associates Limited is recruiting a Trainee Field Technician to cover your local area in the water industry. The role involves assisting in surveys to locate leaks on underground water networks and supporting repair teams with leak detection services.

You will be trained on site with full training taking around 6-12 months. The position is night shift, 40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, and offered on a temporary to permanent basis for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full and valid driving licence.
• Willing to undergo 6–12 months of training.
• Manual outdoor work background preferred.

Responsibilities

• To assist in detailed surveys to identify the type and location of water leakage.
• Assist repair gangs by providing leak detection services.
• Assist in survey work/project work not normally associated with day-to-day leak detection.
• To assist in adequate and accurate completion of all paperwork (including time sheets, survey forms, leak details and other duties as required).
• Possess basic computer skills as you will be uploading data onto a laptop.
• It is essential that you hold a full and valid driving licence as you are required to drive for the role.
