Future Engineering Recruitment Ltd is hiring a Trainee Field Service Engineer in Croydon. The role offers £35,000 - £45,000 basic plus uncapped overtime (OTE £70,000+), specialist training, and a clear path to becoming a qualified field service engineer.

You will work on automatic door systems, receive full training from experienced engineers, and join a supportive team that promotes development, increased responsibility, and career progression.

Formación

• Hands-on electrical / mechanical experience with basic hand tools.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Commutable to Croydon and surrounding areas (SE/SW London).

Responsabilidades

• Complete structured technical training on automatic door systems.
• Assist with installation, servicing and maintenance of automatic doors.
• Learn to diagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairs.
• Work alongside experienced engineers on customer sites.

The Role Of The Trainee Field Service Engineer Will include:

• Complete structured technical training on automatic door systems
• Assist with the installation, servicing and maintenance of automatic doors

• Work alongside experienced engineers on customer sites
• Develop the skills to carry out independent service visits and breakdown repairs
• Travel to customer sites across your designated area
• Complete service reports and ensure all work meets safety standards

The Successful Field Service Engineer Will Have:

• Hands-on electrical / mechanical experience / confident using hand tools
• Full UK driving licence
• Commutable to the Croydon / SE / SW areas
