Job summary

Glen Callum Associates is seeking a motivated Trainee Field Sales Executive to join its technical sales team across major UK locations. You will receive full product training, mentoring and hands-on support to develop into a successful Field Sales Executive, building relationships with bodyshops, dealerships and repair networks while growing territory sales and identifying new opportunities.

Do you have experience in Technical Sales, Product Sales, Internal Sales, Telesales or Customer Account Management and are looking for the next step into a field-based sales role? Perhaps you are an experienced sales professional from sectors such as engineering, manufacturing, construction, machinery, tools, equipment, industrial products, automotive or other technical industries.

Alternatively, you may have a strong customer service / customer facing background, excellent communication skills and the ambition to build a successful career selling high-quality products and solutions.

Our client is a globally recognised market leader, supplying some of the industry's most trusted automotive repair and refinishing products to Bodyshops, Accident Repair Centres, Vehicle Repair Networks, Major Car Dealerships and Independent Repairers throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an ambitious Trainee Field Sales Executive / Technical Sales Representative to join their successful team.You will receive full product training, ongoing mentoring and hands‑on support to develop into a successful Technical Sales Representative / Field Sales Executive.

The Role

• Develop new business opportunities and manage existing customer accounts.

• Demonstrate industry-leading automotive repair and refinishing products.
• Provide technical advice, product demonstrations and customer support.

About You

• Experience in sales, customer service, automotive aftermarket, bodyshop, accident repair, paint & refinish, commercial vehicles, engineering or technical products would be advantageous.
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Commercially driven, enthusiastic and keen to develop a career in field sales.
• Full UK driving licence.
