Job summary

Fort Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Field Engineer (Water Industry) to install and configure monitoring equipment and repair and maintain valves on the clean water network across the region. This is a full-time permanent role with full training, a company vehicle and all required tools.

You will drive between sites, work outdoors in all weather, and enter confined spaces as part of daily duties. No prior sector experience is required since comprehensive training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence (manual) is essential.
• No sector experience required as training will be provided.
• Electrical or mechanical background is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive between sites and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Lift, carry and move equipment and chamber covers.
• Enter and work within confined spaces.
• Install and maintain a variety of mechanical and electrical instrumentation.
