Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Trainee Field Engineer to train and develop into a specialist engineer. You will work on building performance testing across a local patch, starting with full training and progressing through hands-on site work.

The role is home-based within a UK-wide patch, Monday to Friday, 40 hours, with a company van and travel support. No weekends or call-outs are required, and there are progression opportunities.

• Full UK driving licence required or essential.

The Role

• Full training provided from day one


• Carrying out building performance testing including ventilation, airtightness, acoustic and heat transfer testing


• Travelling to customer sites across a local patch


• Monday‑Friday, 40 hours


• No weekends, call out or overnight stays


• Company van and fuel card provided


• Paid travel

The Person

• Looking to start or develop a career in engineering


• Minimal engineering experience required


• Practical or hands‑on background advantageous


• Engineering qualification, apprenticeship or similar beneficial but not essential


• Full UK driving licence


• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
