Job summary

Omega Red Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to start a long-term career within the height safety sector. You will work with experienced engineers, gaining hands-on training in installation, inspection and repair of height safety systems across sites nationwide.

The role offers fully funded L3 NVQ training in Working at Heights, travel pay, and a comprehensive package including pension, health support, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to field-based work.
• Interest in practical hands-on roles and working away from home.
• Willing to travel nationwide and stay away from home when required.
• Proactive and reliable approach to work.

• Confidence working at height or willingness to develop.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced engineers with installation, testing, inspection, and repair of height safety systems
• Learn industry best practices and safe working procedures across UK sites
• Support project delivery by ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality at all times
• Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work
• Develop technical skills through practical on-the-job training and formal learning
• Contribute positively to the team and show willingness to learn
