Job summary

Omega Red Group is actively seeking a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to join our growing Height Safety team. This role offers valuable hands-on training while assisting with the installation, inspection, testing, and repair of height safety systems across sites nationwide.

You will gain access to industry-recognised training and pursue an NVQ in Working at Heights after a qualifying period, with the chance to develop a long-term career in a safety-critical industry.

• What You’ll Need: Previous experience working outdoors or in a field-based role.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced engineers with the installation, testing, inspection, and repair of height safety systems.
• Learn industry best practices and safe working procedures while working on a variety of sites across the UK.
• Support project delivery by helping ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality at all times.
• Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Develop technical skills through practical on-the-job training and formal learning opportunities.
• Contribute positively to the team and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
