Job summary

Dovetail Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a specialist manufacturer in Ferndown to appoint a Trainee Estimator who will support the commercial team from enquiry through to order.

You'll review drawings, produce quotations and assist with tender submissions, liaising across sales, production and project teams to ensure commercial viability. This role offers full training, modern offices, and a clear path to long-term career development.

We are proud to work with an established specialist manufacturer supplying bespoke solutions to the construction sector is looking to appoint a Trainee Estimator to join its commercial team. This Trainee Estimator role offers a great opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, supporting contractors across the UK. The Trainee Estimator role combines technical understanding, commercial awareness and problem-solving, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working with detail and seeing projects develop from enquiry through to order.

The Role

• You'll be trained on reviewing drawings and specifications, producing accurate quotations and supporting clients throughout the tender process.
• Working closely with sales, production and project teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are commercially viable and delivered to a high standard.
