Job summary

KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd invites applications for a Trainee Endoscopic Sales Specialist – Northern Sales Region. The role covers the North East, Yorkshire, parts of Lincolnshire and Northumberland, with Leeds as a base.

You will develop your sales skills within medical devices through a bespoke training programme, contributing to the Regional Team, supporting demonstrations and customer training as you progress toward Associate level.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level (ideally Human Science or Sports Science).
• Sales experience preferred.
• Experience in a team environment transferable to sales.
• Experience handling pressure situations effectively.
• Experience dealing with customers in a sales or service role.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Commit to progression through the Training Objectives Point system (TOP’s).
• Develop the ability to contribute to the regional sales function.
• Assist with regional logistics as required.
• Once certified take responsibility for training customers on KSE equipment.
• As training develops, oversee and support demonstrations of our products.

Job description

To strengthen our team, KARL STORZ Endoscopy (UK) Ltd have a vacancy for a Trainee Endoscopic Sales Specialist – Northern Sales Region. This role would predominantly be covering the North East – including Yorkshire, parts of Lincolnshire and Northumberland. Ideal base location around Leeds and surrounding areas.

As a Trainee, you will develop your sales skills and experience within medical devices through contribution to the sales function of the Team as directed. This will be through a variety of tasks and responsibilities which will evolve and develop in complexity as you move through your bespoke training programme with the aim of transitioning to the next stage of the sales training plan (Associate).

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Commit to progression through the Training Objectives Point system (TOP’s)
• Develop the ability to contribute to the sales function of the Regional Team
• Assist with regional logistics as required
• Once certified take responsibility for training customers on KSE equipment
• As training develops, taking responsibility for overseeing and supporting demonstrations of our products

Qualifications, skills and experience must include:

• Educated to Degree level (ideally Human Science or Sports Science)
• Sales experience preferred.
• Experience of success in a team environment that is transferrable to sales.
• Experience of dealing with pressure situations in an effective way.
• Experience of dealing with customers/general public in a sales or service based role.
• Full UK driving licence
