Job summary

Legacy Leisure seeks a Trainee Duty Manager to lead on customer and staff relations, ensuring high standards of health and safety within the leisure centre. The role offers a springboard to a leisure management career with opportunities to develop and promote innovative programmes.

You will rotate with the Duty Manager, gain hands-on experience, manage safety procedures, and help deliver teaching, coaching, and events while supporting financial and operational objectives.

Qualifications

• Desirable qualification in Leisure Management, Sports Development or related subject.
• Experience in leisure or related industry in small/medium enterprise preferred.
• First Aid at Work and National Pool Lifeguard qualifications desirable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high standards of Health and Safety and customer care within the Centre.
• Develop and promote an exciting leisure programme to increase usage and profitability.
• Assume shift management responsibility to maximise performance.
• Work with current Duty Manager to gain experience and knowledge.
• Provide staff training and development support.
