Job summary

Boots UK in the UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join our store-based pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist, assist with dispensing prescriptions, and learn through the NVQ2 Dispenser training while building patient relationships.

This in-store role offers training with a competitive hourly pay and clear progression. Applicants must have the UK right to work; remote applications are not considered.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. No sponsorship.
• Experience in community pharmacy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor programme.
• Assist with prescription dispensing under supervision, ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Support pharmacists and healthcare professionals in store operations.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and adherence.
• Follow SOPs to dispense prescriptions safely and legally.
