The Delta Group is offering a trainee position to learn how to accurately produce print work in line with job specifications. Full training will be provided to develop skills in sizing, correction curves, QC, and workflow maintenance.

Role involves processing work from the repro/print department, adhering to production schedules, and maintaining equipment in good condition. Training will cover media profiles and RIP tools, with a Monday–Friday 8-hour flexi shift.

• Proven attention to detail and reliability.
• Basic familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be over 18 years old.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and process work according to production schedule.
• Notify supervisor of major issues.
• Learn to problem solve minor issues to keep workflow smooth.
• Maintain machinery per manufacturers recommendations.
• Keep workspace and machinery clean and tidy.
• Select correct media profile and RIP the job to be printed.

Primary Objectives

• Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department
• Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied
• QC to job requirements
• Maintain and process work according to the production schedule
• Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered
• Learn to problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department
• Learn to maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations
• Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy
• Learn to select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed

Shift pattern:
