What You’ll Be Doing

As a Trainee Dental Nurse, you will support our experienced general and specialist dentists while delivering outstanding patient care. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience across various dental procedures and technologies.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparing patients for their appointments, ensuring they feel comfortable and informed.
  • Assisting dentists and hygienists during procedures, including handling dental emergencies.
  • Managing infection control by sterilising instruments, setting up trays, and preparing necessary materials.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Advising patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care.
  • Managing dental equipment, organising stock, and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Learning and performing tasks such as taking alginate impressions, ITero scans, and radiographs (training provided).
