Job summary

PortmanDentex in Wetherby (Ashby Dental) is seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. This full-time role supports dentists, hygienists and therapists across a wide range of procedures, with Monday to Friday shifts.

Starting rate is National Living Wage and training is fully funded by us, with supervision from an experienced team and external course provider. Benefits include GDC/Indemnity/CPD costs covered, a bonus scheme, wellbeing support, extra leave for birthdays and family

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or equivalent.
• Confident communicator with empathetic, service-focused approach.
• Willingness to learn and support dental procedures across the team.

Responsibilities

• Support dentists, hygienists and therapists in a variety of procedures.
• Assist during chairside duties and ensure patient comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of clinical areas.

About you
