Job summary

PortmanDentex in Middlesbrough is seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to join a friendly, experienced clinical team. Full-time role (37.5 hours per week) with shifts 8:00am–5:30pm, some Saturdays, and a compensating day off.

Starting rate at National Living Wage, on-site parking, modern tech including digital X-rays and a digital scanner. The successful candidate will learn dental nursing while supporting each dentist, hygienist or therapist.

Qualifications

• Ideally Maths & English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2.
• Confident communicator with an empathetic, service-focused approach.
• Keen to learn how to perform high quality dental nursing while assisting clinicians.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists, hygienists or therapists in a wide variety of procedures.
• Provide patient care and support in a busy dental practice.
• Maintain clinical environments, ensuring cleanliness and safety.

We’re looking for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our fantastic nursing team at an independent dental practice in Middlesbrough. If you’re looking to start a career in dentistry, this could be a great opportunity to learn, develop and gain valuable experience as part of an experienced clinical team.

The role at a glance

• Full-time – 37.5 hours per week
• Typical shifts: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am–5:30pm, with occasional Saturdays 8:00am–1:00pm and a compensating day off
