Job summary

PortmanDentex is a leading dental group seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our 4-surgery practice in Berkhamsted. You will support dentists and the team across NHS and private patients, with a strong focus on learning and professional development.

Training is fully funded and supervised by experienced colleagues and an external provider, with clear career progression and wellbeing support. Competitive hourly rate offered.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C/4-9) or Functional Skills Level 2 preferred.
• Confident communicator with an empathetic, service-focused approach.
• Keen to learn dental nursing and assist dentists, hygienists or therapists.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists, hygienists or therapists in a wide range of procedures.
• Provide high quality dental nursing support and patient care.
• Engage in funded formal qualifications and CPD training.

Typical shifts:08:15-5.45pm

Competitive hourly rate : £12.71 per hour

4-surgery practice,caring for both NHS and private patients

Training supported by our highly experienced, supportive team -your course will be fully funded by us and is overseen by an external course provider

Parking available on the side roads

About you

Ideally Maths & English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2

Confident communicator with an empathetic, service-focused approach

Keen to learn how to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist in a wide variety of procedures
