Job summary

Ballyclare Dental Practice in Ballyclare is seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to join a busy private four-surgery team. You will gain hands-on experience supporting general dentistry and collaborating with dentists, hygienists and reception staff in a supportive environment.

The role offers full-time hours, with typical shifts 8.15am–5.30pm, and starts at the National Living Wage. Driving is preferred due to limited public transport in the area.

Qualifications

• Ideally Maths & English GCSE grade A-C/4-9 or Key Skills/Functional Skills Level 2
• Confident communicator with an empathetic, service-focused approach
• Keen to learn how to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist, hygienist or therapist

Responsibilities

• Support general dentistry and assist dentists, hygienists or therapists in procedures
• Work as part of a busy practice team and contribute to patient care
• Greet patients, prepare rooms and maintain clinical cleanliness
