Job summary

Portman Dental Care in Bromley is hiring a Trainee Dental Nurse to join The Buckley Practice. You will support dentists, hygienists and therapists across a wide range of procedures while you train.

We offer funded training, support from an experienced team, and flexible Saturday mornings. The role is full-time (43 hours) with shifts listed. Ideal candidates have maths and English GCSEs and are keen to learn; you’ll become a valued member of a friendly, patient-focused practice.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade A-C/4-9 (or equivalent)
• Confident communicator with an empathetic, service-focused approach
• Keen to learn high-quality dental nursing while assisting dentists, hygienists or therapists

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists, hygienists or therapists in a wide range of dental procedures.
• Support patient care and infection control during procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-focused practice environment.

• Full-time hours - 43 hours per week
• Typical shifts are Monday, Thursday and Friday - 08.45 -17.45, Tuesday 08.45 -19.45, Wednesday 08.45 - 18.45, Saturday (when required) 08.45 - 12.45
• Starting rate is National Living Wage
• Flexibility to work Saturday mornings once a month
• Training supported by our highly experienced, supportive team -your course will be fully funded by us and is overseen by an external course provider

About you
