Trainee Customs Clerk & Customs Clerk

Required for a Sunday Times Top 250 Logistics company based in Southampton (Hamble).

Position: Trainee Customs Clerk

Ideal for individuals with some freight/logistics industry experience who are seeking a long-term career with an excellent employer, or those interested in starting a career in logistics with the right attitude.

Package

• Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:30 (or similar)

The Role

Co-ordinating and liaising with Customs Authorities, managing freight requiring customs clearance, and ensuring compliance with all controls, HMC formalities, and procedures, including bonded stock. This role is suitable for someone with some experience in a Customs environment or as an entry point for those interested in a career in customs.
