Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to enter the Motor Trade industry. We are working with a busy main dealership in Eastbourne, East Sussex, seeking a Trainee Service Advisor to join their friendly team. No previous experience is necessary as full dealership training will be provided. This role is ideal for candidates looking to start or progress their career in the automotive industry.

The successful candidate will receive full manufacturer training and work in a company that values employee development. We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic individual with excellent people skills to ensure the highest customer service standards.

Trainee Service Advisor Duties include:
  • Ensuring customers are informed about necessary service and repair work in a professional manner
  • Advising on estimated costs and work to be undertaken
  • Selling additional products as appropriate
  • Advising on timescales and collection arrangements
  • Producing job cards using the in-house computer system
  • Updating customer and vehicle records
  • Documenting warranty work according to manufacturer policy
  • Preparing and completing invoices
Candidate Requirements:
  • Previous experience in customer service is essential
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about the motor trade
  • A valid full UK driving licence
