Job summary

Class One Traffic Management Limited in Bonnybridge is hiring a Trainee Contracts Technician. The role focuses on supporting the Contracts Team with planning, drawing production, and project coordination within traffic management across the UK.

You will gain exposure to permits, client communications, and project delivery while receiving structured training and development to build technical, commercial, and operational knowledge in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and production of traffic management drawings under guidance.
• Support the Contracts Team with planning and coordination of traffic management projects.
• Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders to obtain permits/approvals.
• Work with Operations Teams and Contracts Managers to understand project delivery.
• Attend site visits, surveys and meetings to learn traffic management operations.
• Assist with customer communications and respond to enquiries.

Start your career in Traffic Management We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Contracts Technician to join our Contracts Team in Bonnybridge. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will receive training and support to develop both your technical and commercial knowledge while contributing to the successful delivery of traffic management projects.

Role Overview for Trainee Contracts Technician

• Assist with the preparation and production of traffic management drawings under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
• Support the Contracts Team with the planning and coordination of traffic management projects.
• Learn how to liaise with local authorities and relevant stakeholders to obtain permits and approvals.
• Work closely with Operations Teams and Contracts Managers across all depots to gain an understanding of project delivery.
• Attend site visits, surveys and meetings to develop knowledge of traffic management operations and customer requirements.
• Assist with customer communications and respond to enquiries.
• Support the preparation of quotations, project documentation and contract records.
• Develop an understanding of industry standards, legislation and best practice within the traffic management sector.
• Undertake training and development activities to build technical, commercial and operational knowledge.

What we are looking for
