Job summary

UDP in Bonnybridge (Scotland) is seeking a Contracts Technician to support planning, design and delivery of traffic management projects. You will work with Contracts Managers, Operations Teams and clients to ensure safe, efficient delivery to high standards.

Key duties include creating technical traffic management drawings, managing client sites, obtaining road permits and coordinating documentation. Strong IT skills and driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience using Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and CONE software.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and customer service.
• Full UK Driving Licence with minimal or no penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce technical traffic management drawings.
• Project manage works for key client sites.
• Liaise with local authorities to obtain permits and access to road networks.
• Coordinate with Operations Teams and Contracts Managers across all depots.
• Attend site meetings and surveys where required. Manage customer relationships and resolve project-related queries.
• Coordinate project documentation and support the successful delivery of contracts.
