Job description

A Trainee Commercial Gas Engineer is required for a well-established building services provider based in South West London, operating since 1985 with long-standing contracts with private managing agencies of commercial buildings.

The company is seeking a skilled Domestic Engineer who is looking to upskill to Commercial Gas. The Trainee Commercial Gas Engineer will assist with a variety of tasks, primarily focused on the service, maintenance, and repair of commercial heating systems and plant rooms. Work will be carried out across a mix of commercial properties and communal residential buildings, such as plant rooms within apartment complexes and flats.

Trainee Commercial Engineer Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary £40,000 - £46,000 depending on experience
• Company van with limited personal use
• Extensive overtime paid at 1.5x & 2x rates
• Working hours: 8am - 4:30pm on site, plus 1-hour pay per day for travel
• 23 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Call out rota: 1 in 6 weeks, plus standby and overtime
